I disagree... Soon their time will come!
Manure will fall. The rags and slur alex have to much debt to continue.

We're going win more than you this future more than likely.
Like your team didn't pay for their players right? They just came to your team.

We don't overpay for our players. And we actually DO focus on our youth academy and give our youth legitimate chances... I don't think you can say that.

hey pit..those who live in glass houses my friend etc....huge city supporter here and am in no way bashing nor glorifying the way teams spend....but your american owners put themselves in dire straits and can't afford anymore to keep up w/the jones'...namely chelsea and city...there was a time and not so long ago...ronaldo comes to mind rather quickly...and look what happened there...couldn't afford to keep him....listen, city have to come up with some silverware now...and i would expect some players on the current team to be gone in a week(when the transfer window shuts) or definitely by x-mas...and when i watch a game like yesterdays...i say to myself...do we really need a david silva? or an adebayor? or a jo?...man u can't rule the roost forever...the times they are a changing in manchester my man

I don't think that logic makes sense really though. Just because we have been a force in English football for the last 20 or so years doesn't mean we necessarily have to fail now. I think you guys will definitely be more than noisy neighbors in the coming years but to think United will settle into a mid-table club is absolutely ridiculous. Like I said, I think in a few years, you guys will have a legitimate claim at the title. I just don't see it this year.

Also, the Glazers haven't spent THAT big since being with us. We bought Ronnie for a reported 12 mil and selling him on when he wanted to leave for 80 mil is GREAT business. There's no arguing that.

that 12 million was reported on ronaldo...word round the campfire was it was way more than that...but beyond that...i don't doubt united's prowess at all..i actually put a few dollars on them to win the epl this year...and as far as city goes, it is more intriguing for me to watch the team gel than to put money down on them to win the epl...this year....i don't foresee united ever being middle of the pack club in the epl...liverpool has more of leeds disaster in them than united ever could...

Look, the fact is that City is going to be amazing soon. It looks like we are buying it because we are doing it in two transfer windows. Man U lineup cost as much just over a tiny bit longer time.
And we sold SWP for 25 mil and then bought him for 9 mil. Good buisness huh?

I'll concede that as a City fan you definitely have things to look forwards to in the future.
